Congresswoman Ann Wagner, representing Missouri and chairing the Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets, announced that her Developing and Empowering our Aspiring Leaders (DEAL) Act has been advanced by the Financial Services Committee. The legislation aims to support small businesses and entrepreneurs by improving access to capital.
In a statement, Wagner emphasized the importance of small businesses in driving innovation both in Missouri and nationwide. She highlighted the challenges these businesses face in accessing necessary capital for growth. "My DEAL Act will take down the barriers facing them and support small businesses as they stimulate economic growth and support good-paying jobs," she stated.
Wagner expressed her anticipation for the House to consider this legislation, aiming to eliminate unnecessary regulations that hinder innovators from achieving their potential.
