Congresswoman Ann Wagner of Missouri has expressed her support for Governor Mike Kehoe's request for federal assistance following a tornado that struck the St. Louis area on May 16th. Wagner, along with other Missouri representatives, is advocating for a Major Disaster Declaration to facilitate recovery efforts.
"Missourians are still recovering from the recent tornado, and our communities are in desperate need of federal assistance," stated Wagner. She emphasized her commitment to working with federal, state, and local officials to ensure necessary resources are available for rebuilding efforts. "I have seen this damage on the ground firsthand and talked with many victims of this tragedy, and I will keep working to help them however I can."
