Ann Wagner, a U.S. Congressional representative who has been serving Missouri's 2nd District since 2013, shared several personal reflections through tweets in April 2025. Born in St. Louis and currently residing in Ballwin, Wagner has been a public servant for many years.
On April 20, 2025, Wagner shared a message celebrating Easter, stating, "He is risen! Ray and I hope you have a blessed Easter Sunday and a joyful time with your family and loved ones."
In another post on April 21, Wagner expressed her gratitude for Pope Francis, who had recently passed away. She wrote, "Today, we give thanks to God for Pope Francis and his many years of service to our Church. His Jesuit heart reminded us always of our obligation to the impoverished and poor in spirit." Wagner also mentioned her personal connection with the Pope, saying, "I was blessed to meet and speak with him personally last year and I grieve for his passing."
Again on April 21, Wagner shared her memories of meeting Pope Francis along with her husband, Ray, last year. She noted, "Ray and I were blessed to meet Pope Francis just last year. Praying for all mourning his passing with us."
Ann Wagner graduated from the University of Missouri in 1984 with a Bachelor's degree and succeeded Todd Akin in Congress. At 60 years old, she continues to serve her state.
