Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO) did not hold back in her scathing critique of President Joe Biden's State of the Union address. Wagner accused Biden of being out of touch with the realities faced by Americans, stating, "This is just more of the out of touch, lead from behind nonsense that has made our nation less safe and more expensive."

Wagner further criticized Biden's leadership, asserting that his actions have emboldened dictatorships like Russia, China, and Iran, posing a threat to global stability. She emphasized the need for a strong American leader who will defend the country's interests against its enemies, a quality she believes Biden lacks. Wagner remarked, "Our allies need an American leader who is confident, dependable, and who will not hesitate to defend our common interests against our enemies. They have no confidence Joe Biden is that President."

The Congresswoman highlighted the tragic loss suffered by families of military personnel, such as Mark Schmitz, father of Lance Corporal Jared Schmitz who died in the Kabul bombing. Wagner expressed disappointment that Biden did not apologize to these Gold Star families for his decisions that led to the loss of their loved ones. She lamented, "I am utterly disappointed, but not surprised, President Biden refused to apologize to them for his decision that led to the death of their children."

In conclusion, Wagner painted a grim picture of the nation's state under Biden's leadership, citing concerns about national security, the border situation, and lawlessness in American neighborhoods. Her remarks reflect a strong stance against what she perceives as the failings of the current administration.
