On October 14, 2025, Wagner highlighted her visit to a local manufacturer, stating, "I met with GH Tool & Mold in Washington, Missouri today to learn more about this local manufacturer that provides essential support to our national defense. Later that same day, Wagner discussed agricultural issues in Missouri, particularly the impact of international trade disputes on local farmers. She posted, "We had a productive roundtable discussion with the Missouri Soybean Association at Stemme Farm this week. Our local soybean farmers are have been greatly impacted by the ongoing trade war with China and are facing a great personal toll. They need access to these markets and I".

Wagner was born in St Louis in 1962 and currently resides in Ballwin. She graduated from the University of Missouri in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Before her current tenure in Congress, she succeeded Todd Akin as representative for Missouri’s 2nd district.
