Xander Schmitt, former Lafayette Senior High School standout, played on Thursday, March 6 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Thursday, March 6, former Lafayette Senior High School standout Xander Schmitt’s current college team, the Kansas Jayhawks, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Milwaukee Panthers.

The game took place at Hoglund Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Jayhawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 12:05 p.m. at Hoglund Ballpark against Milwaukee Panthers.
