On Sunday, March 9, former Christian Brothers College High School standout Alex Esker’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Murray State Racers.
The game took place at Johnny Reagan Field. This was their fifth matchup against the Racers this season.
The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at Illinois Field against Illinois Fighting Illini.
