On Saturday, March 15, former Marquette High School standout Maddie Carney’s current college team, the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The game took place at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Leathernecks this season.

The Redhawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Williams Field against Eastern Illinois Panthers.
