On Friday, Feb. 7, former Eureka High School standout Sophi Mazzola’s college team lost in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, Feb. 7, former Eureka High School standout Sophi Mazzola’s current college team, the Washington Huskies, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The game took place at Rita Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Crimson Tide this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 5 p.m. at Rita Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium against Arizona Wildcats.
