On Sunday, March 9, former Eureka High School standout Cole Koonce’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, won 14-10 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Bellarmine Knights.

The game took place at Itchy Jones Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Knights this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 4 p.m. at Nick Denes Field against Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.
