On Saturday, March 8, former Eureka High School standout Cole Koonce’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, won 13-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Bellarmine Knights.
The game took place at Itchy Jones Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Knights this season.
The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at Itchy Jones Stadium against Bellarmine Knights.
